Oh yeah, there's so much to add here because the grooves just keep on coming. I've been slacking a bit but I promise to do better, starting now. Plenty of hot joints for the month of November and here are a few of them.

MeShell Ndegeocello      Weather    Out now
Georgia Anne Muldrow    Owed To Mama Rickie   Out now
Mark De Clive Lowe        Renegades      Out now
J*Davey                       New Designer Drug      Nov. 22th

As we kick off 2011 there several records to keep your eye on, especially the new Reel People release "Golden Lady". Their first two releases "Second Guess" and "Seven Ways To Wonder" are essential to any lover of soulful dance music and this one is no exception. "Golden Lady" features appearances by Darien, Tony Momrelle and Choklate and it drops on January 24th. Also look out for the following:

Deborah Jordan    What You See   Out now.
Opolopo           Voltage Controlled Feelings    Out now
Danay Suarez   The Havana Cultura Sessions  Out now
Maddslinky          Take A Chance  Out now.
Talib Kweli        Gutter Rainbows   Coming Soon

We all gave Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings last release "100 Days and 100 Nights" repeated listens and thought that it can't get better than this. Yes it can! Their new release "I Learned The Hard Way" is every bit as good if not better. The band is one of the tightest around and Sharon Jones has a voice to be reckoned with. This one is a no-brainer so add it to your shopping list along with the others.

Georg Levin - Everything Must Change  Out now.
King Britt - The Intricate Beauty  Out now.
Little Brother - Left Back April 20th
Flying Lotus - Cosmogramma  May 4th

As I patiently waited for my Sade and Silhouette Brown albums to arrive, I received a surprise; a brand spanking new album by Adrianna Evans. For those soul music lovers who fiended for her 97 debut, you're going to love this one. "Walking with the night" is every bit as good as the first with some 70's flavored soul tunes that will have you, your mama and your grandmama head noddin'. Here's what else to look for:

Maysa      Woman in Love        Out now.
Gil Scott-Heron    I'm new here Out now.
Georgia Anne Muldrow    Kings Ballad   Out now.
Matthew Halsall    Coulour You  Out now.
Soulpersona     Soulacoaster    Out now.
Raheem DeVaughn    The love and Masterpiece   March 1st.

This has been such a great year for Futuristica with Emanative, Deborah Jordan, Jazz Chronicles and now Sun Circle. The pairing of Simon S and Deborah Jordan has resulted in sublime string laden downtempo music. With Deborah's vocals and Simon's production, you can't go wrong. Here's a list of other dope releases on the horizon:

Jose James       BlackMagic    Feb. 1st
Sade               Soldier of Love  Feb 9th
Silhouette Brown  2              Feb. 8th
Four Tet          There is Love in you   Jan. 25th
Build An Ark      Love            Out now
Phlash and Friends   Deep Electronic Sound   Out now

October is providing lots of tasty musical treats so look for some dope releases to drop just about every week. We're looking forward to SA-RA member Shafiq Husayn's release "Shafiq En A-Free-Ka" and a couple of gems from Ubiquity: Shawn Lee & Clutchy Hopkins and Clonious. On the house tip, there is the new release from Opolopo entitled "Beyond Jipangu".

N'Dambi         Pink Elephant               Oct. 6th
Me'Shell Ndegochello    Devil's Halo      Oct. 6th
Clonious                   Between the dots     Oct. 13th
Shawn Lee & Clutchy Hopkins   Fascinating Fingers   Oct. 13th

Ok, obviously I've neglected this page for some time. Not on purpose of course but while editing the other pages it appears that one became the fall guy. I promise to do a better job, starting now with a bunch of wonderful upcoming must haves.

It's only fitting that I start with a new Guynamite release since the last time I updated this page was when Guy (Guynamite) Benton dropped his first ep. That one was dope as well as the second one and this one is no exception. Cool soulful vocals and funky nusoul grooves are the driving force behind this collection. Check it out and you'll understand where I'm coming from. Plus many more.....

Eric Roberson       Music Fan First  August 25th
Kimberly Nicole     The Yellow Brick Journey August 25th
Jose James          Black Magic     October 26th
4Hero                 Extensions      October 26th

Some of the upcoming releases I can't wait to get my hands on:

: Look A Little Further: There are 12"'s available to whet your appetite this album promises to be one of the biggest this year. Quality soul with an eighties feel to it. Pete Simpson is someone to watch out for. Great voice.

Zed Bias has been hard at work at the boards crafting some killer remixes. Somehow, he found time to create "Experiments With Biasonics Vol.1" on Sick Trumpet. Check out "Smile Within Feat. Fyza". Soulful and sublime!

Amp Fiddler now has a US release for Afro Strut. The US release features some new additions, including the remix of "If I don't" feat. Corrine Bailey Rae.

Guynamite feat. Selina Campbell: Those Eyes: High quality Broken soul from the Guynamite EP Vol.1

And also on Sick Trumpet, Michelle Amador returns with "Because Of You". Check out the Yoruba remix. Wicked!
